All the acronyms — what do they mean and who is who and what is what?
Here is a brief explanation of what GP is, who GPi is, who SSE is and how they all fit together. In addition you will find important information about due dillience, a guide to some of the icons you will see on the site, a link to our FAQ's and our support ticket system.

Due Diligence:
Even though these resources come from a friendly source it is very important that you do your homework before purchasing or signing any agreement.  You alone are responsible for any contracted services and neither GP nor the host network are responsible for any work performed or mediating any issues.  We are simply unable to vouch for, recommend or guarantee in any meaningful way any of the listed resources, items and employment opportunities or any of the people who create the listings.  You must take steps to protect yourself and your interests. We recommend seeking references, background checks, independent research and contacting the Better Business Bureau prior to and immediately following initial contact. Micro-Network?
Sometimes the internet is just too big.  GP is a micro-network that attempts to make this vast expanse more personal, intimate and productive within a group of people and businesses that share a common purpose, vision or philosophy.

Listing Types:
Of the three listing types Partner is the most prominent. Partners have all the same features of Premium but with a boost. Randomly as many as 3 Partner and Premium listings are also given favorable positioning but they are always visually enhanced. If you want to draw attention to your listing - upgrade.  By the way, partners have simply chosen to go above and beyond.  They've donated to SSE at the time of Premium upgrade and deserve a second look!  All listings begin as Basic and are always free.  Learn more about upgrading your listing here

Who is GPi?

Who is SSE?
SSE is a Mason, OH based 501(c)(3) organization that is changing the way we think about helping people. The concept is quite visionary and is already paying dividends. SSE stands for Self Sustaining Enterprises. The model is to combine business with ministry, thus creating Biznistries.  Biznistries are run as traditional businesses but the profits help to uplift local neighborhoods, employ the unemployed, pay for medical care and tackle pockets of poverty in a meaningful and sustainable ways. "Give a man a fish; you have fed him for today. Teach a man to fish; and you have fed him for a lifetime." SSE takes it one step further and provides the man a pond, teaches him to run a hatchery, employs his neighbor and feeds the community.  SSE does this with fish, orchards, sewing machines, internet cafes and more using little more than the ingenuity, passion and hope within us all.  They are transforming people and communities both home and abroad.  Learn more...

How they all fit together:
This will seem complicated at first, but it really isn't. GPi has developed a product - GP. GPi has partnered with SSE to represent the sales/marketing aspect of the product. So, in essence the partnership between GPi and SSE is a Biznistry. On the GP site there are opportunities to make tax deductible donations to SSE. All funds that are donated go directly to SSE. These funds go to support the vision of SSE and to help wipe out those pockets of poverty.

What about that donate link?
GP is a free product. As stated above we have partnered with SSE for sales/marketing of GP. In exchange for them marketing GP we have provided a vehicle for networks or individuals to make donations to SSE. The application will function the same whether you have donated or not, however, we hope that you see the vision SSE has and would like to be part of something bigger. But if not that is ok, too - you can still enjoy all the power and functionality GP has to offer.

Is it Really free? How can it be?
GPi and SSE feel that it is so important for us to encourage connections that we are giving this tool away for free. Free to set up a network, free to list a business, classified and job. If the free part troubles you then you can donate to SSE via the donate link or upgrade your listing to a premium status for a nominal fee.
